It's amazing that the key ingredient that keeps the great wall together really is sticky white rise.

Some Chinese NGOs have been working w/the ATC to try and get something like what we have surrounding the Appalachian Trail set up (private groups, not government doing most of the legwork) in China.
It'd do wonders for local economies and help gather funding to support maintenance of the Wall itself. That trek would be an awesome set of bragging rights!
