If this is such a potent pair, one pair in the straight of Hormuz and another in the south China sea should calm things down, but i don't think this administration would even think of doing it. It would rather kiss the asses of those who have sworn to destroy us. It is with great hope that the Donald wins this election and he stands by his statement to "Bomb the shit out of them"

I just hope they have enough spare parts for the F-18 F-16 B-1 bomber B-52 I tend to look you put too much money into too small too few a platform that is buggy or a cost too darn much for what we get out of it

Let's not rule out the Destroyers and cruisers that we have in our inventory that are still in good shape there going to be needed I just hope they keep them maintain in the reserve Fleet so when the next War they're able to be back in service in a few days. We need to have the ability to expand our Navy after 8 years or more of neglect. Littoral combat ship may be a way but for the time being it's too expensive and the only money you're saving is having a smaller crew.
