Problem We got an Immediate Return. Someone was Under Us. We Sent a Message to COMSUBPAC "Funny, Ha Ha, We Caught One of Yours Under Us!" SUBPAC's Response, That isn't one of Ours, Chase that SOB to Ground. 3 Days of Prosecuting an Unknown Target with SONAR Sucks for All Involved. The Russians have My Sympathy for Subjecting them to that Horrible Noise for Days on End.

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel - Yes - the Bay = a wee bit chilly. Loved having had the opportunity to *USAR* for a while @ the Presidio. *Still* one of the most beautiful places in NorCal. We always hit Fort Point when we are in SF —> best views of the bridge! Picked up this book @ the Fort Point gift shop - some of the best photos I’ve seen. As for subs, great recollection by you to which I will add the iconic scene in the movie *Destination Tokyo* of a sub going under the GGB.
