"The youth espousing these more radical ideas"
I wonder where the youth got these so called more radical ideas? How can Tore Hamming write about the Islamic State, AQ and the youth of the Arab world flocking to Afganistan without writing about Muhammad's orders? How is that possible Sir?
The only reason the Islamic State is more radical (to us) is it is following Muhammad to the letter. Also, it is from Muhammad's own direction women and children can be targeted as long as they are of the Infidel and Jew (the enemy) (those who do not submit). This is an example of how Pam Am 103 is justified.
The Ummah has orders to form a Caliphate. Not a Caliphate supported by the world system and lead by Turkey.
Now, let's discuss the Shia. The other part of the enemy Sir.

Your point on the Shia is well taken Mark.. how often is it we discuss that.. when we too often look and see only ourselves as the principle enemy. How much of what they have written - and what they are teaching is focused towards the Shia and why are we not able to concentrate on those lines?

Thank you for responding Sir. But I am not impressed with the author.
I suspect, her funding will only continue if she is supportive of the propaganda the west is feeding it'self until we are Balkanized.

Shia vs Sunni is like Catholic vs Protestant. If memory serves correct, one sect follows the bloodline of Muhammed and the other follows a spiritually appointed succession from Muhammed for leadership of those that follow Islam. I have read the Qu’ran and it reads like the ramblings of a man that heard a little bit about Judaism and Christianity and got things wrong when he tried to regurgitate what he had heard. It is historically inaccurate and gets some stories in the OT mixed up with each other. For example, he confuses the story about Gideon’s Army with the story about David vs Goliath and has Davis sending his men down to the water to drink and he only takes those who didn’t put their face in the water but rather held on to their spears and drank by dipping their other hand into the water and bringing it up to their mouth to go up with him to fight Goliath. I found nothing in its writing to suggest divine inspiration. Surely Allah, if he was God, would not lie to Muhammed and give him bum scoop! Furthermore, what kind of god is pleased when those whom he created kill others in his name and gives them the wives of infidels they conquered as the spoils of war to be plowed like fields and done with as they please? Are we not all sinners? Even if the entire world were to yield and submit to Islam, there would be no peace. They would simply fight each other over whose interpretation of the Qu’ran was more true. I don’t see how anyone could follow something so inherently man made, violent, and historically inaccurate. I don’t even consider it a bonifide religion but rather a political system that incorporates Sharia Law as the basis for its Judicial System and makes use of religion to keep its followers submissive and compliant. They are not allowed to leave; the punishment for apostasy is death. If Islam was so good why does it threaten those who leave it with death? ??? Islam is a murderous death cult that spreads itself through conquest using fear and intimidation and threat of death to win new converts. Religion of Peace? Meh. I think I’ll take a hard pass on it.

The long war is never over and we best have people focus on the HUMINT side.
The madrasass are educating 600K people a year, if only half of 1% are extremest that is still 30K fighting age and dedicated men. There are plans and plots, we must stay vigilant.

For over 2 decades we have been in this fight - and yet failed to understand the fight we are in . The Long War continues because we have not focused our efforts on waging a war that our enemy can not win.. and allow them to wage that war on us instead.
