History knows and shows the prominence of the black cowboy! Hollywood made it look like all cowboys were white. I had the honor of meeting one of the last surviving 10th Cavalry Buffalo Soldiers in Lawton OK a long time ago. The folks who portray Buffalo Soldiers and do the reenactments are a great bunch of folk.
