Good short history - missed a few points in some of the smaller details. We always see language as a critical issue when the K.u.k. is discussed. After a year of studying just one regiment - I came to see that such really is a miss understanding. In the US Army - we have many first languages other than English.... and we do the exact same as they did - we use a command language that is the principle of military drill and movement.......
