It goes without saying that it sure would be good to have a general like Wilson around today.... would he be able to change the WWI like offensive at Mosul into something very different would make for a great historical paper.... Not many know of this raid - nor is it taught that often. But it was one of the greatest of cavalry operations in US history for its size and scale.
