“The Letter” — Amy McGrath for U.S. Senate

First, I am no Mitch McConnell fan but this video is lame. I would love to see many/most career politicians on both sides gone. The video is lame because the notion that you can write a letter to a Senator or Congressman and have the government solve your problems is part of the problem. So Mitch didn't respond to her letter wanting to fly in the armed forces, so what. Politicians cannot respond to most letters they get. That is a simple reality.

This notion that the government is a sugar daddy that can solve your problems is the problem. It is a problem of modern American. America was not always this way by a long shot.

She laments about political discourse, the anger and blame, then what does she do, you guessed it. She then blames everything on Mitch "It started with this man" (did she just assume his gender?). Here is the shocker, she is running for his seat!

Again, I am no Mitch fan but my guess is she is a big government, cradle to grave type politician. The kind we need less of, not more of.
