My mom said that statins were causing her to feel off. Doctor completely denied that it could be an effect of the statins. Cognitive decline is now a known side effect of these drugs that some doctors want every single patient over 50 to take.
They wanted me to start taking them at 15 even though their effect on growing adolescent women is unknown. I asked how long my liver was expected to hold out and suddenly they found alternatives to them. SMH
