Sir,
After reading the article, it appears IS IS behaviour parallels Muhammad's behavior.
Didn't Muhammad state to strike fear into the hearts of the unbelievers?
I noticed, the Iraqi army was stated as such with no mention it is overwhelmingly Shitte. AM I wrong Sir?

Not so much a parallel as it is an item that can be used in context by IS.. or more so out of context. Good point on the Iraq Army is mainly Shia.... as was visible with the Shia militia flags flying on some convoys during the initial movement on Mosul.

I see it more as a mental health issue, and that no one bother to put ISIS leadership in check from the beginning, crazy do as crazy do, until treatment by therapy, medication or bullet; religion simply is a tool.
