They missed some of the Texas towns (wide spots in the road) like Izora, Dime Box, or the tiny town I grew up in Gobbler's Knob.

Had fun with this one. Thanks, Warren. As a Hoosier by birth, expected the Larry Bird (the Hick) hometown of "French Link" to show up. Surprised that "Shacktown" which is about 5 miles from our current, NC residence didn't make the list. Mocksville, NC, is about 15 miles in another direction and it did make the list. Notables from Mocksville include Joe Gibbs (NFL and NASCAR) and Thomas Ferebee who was the bombardier on the Enola Gay. Also, Daniel Boone's parents lived and are buried in Mocksville. Just a little FYI.

There is a bridge on the freeway up in Oregon (and a trailer park etc.) named Jumpoff Joe Creek.
