SGT (Join to see) One not listed I think is that Veterans do not give themselves enough credit for the positions they held while in the service.

CPT (Join to see), I can understand that if they have been in combat. I can't explain it, but whatever happened while in combat, makes you want to hang your head, and not feel worthy. Hey! You think that's what is called PTSD?

There are many ways to create value in a resume. This author throws mud up against a wall.

This is a pot full of ideas but without good direction. I don't mind the author raising issues but they all contradict each other. This is another confusing trap of ideas that often have military veterans spinning their wheels. So what is the simpleton advice? It might be too long if it is over a page? Are you kidding me? The author is, like many, probably trying to help. But this article is a perfect example of the confusing, disjointed and contradictory career advice that is espoused.

Sorry CPT John M. O'Connor, I really wouldn't know what the correct advise would be. Do you have something you would like to add to this post, or give some ideas?
