I qualified Expert on the 1911 while in the Navy. It was the first pistol I ever fired. When working the Sheriff’s Dept. I always shot Master. I find it to be a great gun.

I love all of my 1911 A1s and find them to be more than accurate. Especially the Nighthawk Custom that I built. Tack driver with a 2 3/4lb trigger!

My all time favorite is a NM bullseye hardball gun I built on a Springfield Armory frame. It would hold 2 1/2 group at 50 yard line with Federal Match 230 gr ball. Shot it on ocassion but gave up bullseye shooting over 20 years ago.
