I am all for arming every plane we send up. Some of the aircraft with powerful avionics might make great weapons platforms. Then again, maybe I've read too many Dale Brown novels. I am a firm believer that no aircraft, vessel, or vehicle should be defenseless.

SFC Stephen Atchley Unfortunately Way Too Often those Lessons have to be Learned the Hard Way. USS Pueblo and USS Liberty come to Mind. I don't Know What the Magic Number of CTs Dead is before they Arm our Platforms but I Know I was Bristling with Weapons Systems Parked Off Iran 91-96.
