This is about the time wives or husbands if they will ultimate become crazy, this is the age to do it. My
ex-wife became stupid crazy. She god a DUI on Ft Riley and wrecked the van. Guess who my senior rater was? The Post Commander. I was fortunate to have an Amor Brigade Commander as a mentor and he put in a good word to the Post Commander for me.
The morning after we got the van back from the body shop I saw her get in the van and purposely ram a neighbors parked car. I keep saying I got 9 lives. I needed them. I had to get rid of her. She immensely effed me financially as well. I almost lost my security clearance due to all the joint debt she gave me when she filed bankruptcy despite the fact I was giving her $2000/month in the early 2000s. An officer who does not have security clearance is at a great threat of getting booted out of the military.
I have a simple and valuable advice. There are two types of people in the world. One builds families, relationships, organizations, and companies. The other destroys everything in their path. I don't care if the destroyers are friends, family, or kids. I will cut them off because they will try to bring you down. They are dangerous because they are within arms length.
I know. I know I am ranting. I am proud of myself that I took the high road. That is the only good thing I could think about the process.
