good story... I know i ate Hydrocodne for 2 1/2 years... and once i finished the 3 Surgeries i cut back and stopped in less than 3 months... haven't had a dose in 4 months...

I heard a podcast a year ago talking about this. The major issue is not the drug "addiction" but the drug "habit."
Grandma breaks her hip and is given drugs to help her until it heals. Once it's healed, it she gets off, because she has a support structure.
Addicts on the other hand are missing the normal support structure from the beginning.... which makes drug use really dangerous and really addictive.
