This is two years old - and all they did was make everyone get 12 weeks across the board. The Navy secretary made maternity leave 18 weeks but really shortly after that the SECDEF said no, everyone will get 12 weeks. So the Navy and Marines who had already started the 18 weeks got it and then after that it just went to 12 weeks like everyone else. This is a very misleading blog post (not even an actual article). I hadn't realized they increased paternity leave then - which 14 days is better than 10.
I wish I had gotten 12 weeks...
