The perplexing problem is that we are applying our values, and culture to people of a land that can not support them, therefore warfare is what nature drives them to do so that the natural resources meet the needs of those that live on the land; Nature Selection.

Indeed perplexing. Jordan needs more space to take care of the refugees. Perhaps we could support him and a coalition of Kurds, and Syrian rebels, let them clear the space of Assad et al and expand the nation of Jordan. Syria could be the country that was without leveling it. I think the King would serve his people well. It is their culture, their world.
