No offense Anne Frank, but this is the most awesome autobiography I've ever seen, and easily one of the top 5 in human history.
Written by Leopold Weiss, born in 1900 as an Austrian Jew. The setting is amazing: post-WWII Europe and the Middle East. The writing is easily 5-star in every category. It's largely an exciting travelogue, including Arabia, Persia, Egypt, Palestine, British India and Pakistan, Austria-Hungary, and Germany. His life is full of excitement and even near-death experiences, such as surviving a sandstorm in the middle of an Arabian desert and getting lost for days.
If you haven't read it yet, you need to.
