Does she know her way around a kitchen? Can she cook? How about some legs in high heels?

Oh yes, my wife knows her way around the kitchen, can cook extremely well, and has awesome legs while in heels (and does not walk like a stork). Now, saying that, we split the kitchen time. Both of us love to cook. There is very little we can't cook. And, oh my God, there might not be enough food is our war cry when we cook for friends. Both of us hate doing the dishes!

Sadly, not many women know what a kitchen is. I married twice and had to teach them both to cook. In fact, before I married, I was teaching wives of friends how to cook.

On the idea of symmetry: https://www.goldennumber.net/beauty/
Hormones (pheromones) have a lot to do with it as well. Human biological response show a tendency to be under the influence of hormones (the infatuation stage) for up to 18 months. Some of the studies I've read postulate that this is the primitive biological drive for the male to be around till at least birth of any progeny.
For me, I've found over the last 40+ years that my "tastes" have not changed much at all. The best way I can put it is "the complete package". And this too falls into the golden ratios. I don't have any references for that handy but there are a LOT of articles on the golden ratio, Greek Gods, the ratios for men and women, etc. I've never met anyone that fit the ratios perfectly. I have met hundreds who were close - and yes, I found them (male or female) to be attractive.
The final part is IQ and EQ. I have dated women who were lacking one, the other or both. Rarely did we get past a few dates (though in my teens/young 20s it was more about Miss Right Now).

Great additions. May I add age difference. Sure, sex is great fun/pleasure, but there are times when you have to stop and have a conversation. Great differences in IQ, EQ, and age will greatly impair communication

Not everything is all about the Military, this site covers a gamut of topics some more active than others. Limiting choices is never a good idea. I click on things that interest me and some just to put my own opinion good or bad in the mix.

I know of few things more "military" than boys talking about girls and visa versa. Hell, just listen to the cadence of any formation while marching.

CPT Jack Durish - Those cadences have been gone for a long time, I was marching some Cadets to training last June when I caught myself before I finished a Jody that would have got me in deep trouble :) I had a hard time remembering the words to PG-13 ones that would meet the PC list :). I hear much worse talk from you women at the Job than I heard in an all male line company in the late 70's.
