Watch. The Republicans are always screaming about immigrants but AND inflation but they won't do anything to address the problems.
Also, this has no impact on the workforce, It will NOT take jobs away from Americans, simply because not many Americans will do that type of work, especially for the low wages paid.

Those "Republicans" are nothing more than RINOs. There are part and parcel to the same Progressive Cabal as the Democrats are. Time people get their heads out of the sand and look at The Big Picture.
Americans used to work those jobs. It was groomed out of us. When is the last time you seen an FFA or 4H Club at your local high school? An extreme rarity nowadays. Most Trades education has been removed from all primary education (public, private, charter). This education was once the mainstay of education beyond the 3 R's and art, before the sports regime took hold.

I will be the naysayer here that decries this major piece of bologna. I challenge each and everyone of you to do your own research. It is a rather simple task, as most of y'all already do this. Head to your local produce section or "Farmer's" Market. Make note of the Country Of Origin. A much harder task since a united Congress in 2013 voted to repeal Certificate Of Origin Labeling (COOL) from the Farm Bill in 2013, to the boon of Mexico and Canada. You will notice that the vast majority of that produce is from Mexico. Sam's Club, Walmart, and regional giants like Rouse's (Louisiana) and Brookshire's (Texas) that proclaim to "Buy Local", are stocked full of produce from Mexico. Try to find green bunching onions/scallions grown in the USA. It has been a nigh impossibility since the Obama Regime. Reason? The last distributor of green onions went belly up. Don't need illegal alien slave labor to transport onions. A bit odd since Mexican green onions/scallions have no issue populating every produce aisle in America.
Take a quick look at your favorite satellite imagery along Mexico, close to our Southern Border, especially the area of the Colorado River outflow. There are nothing but Mexican mega corporate farms. This mega increase of farming requires a mega increase in water. The US and Mexico share water rights of the Colorado Drainage Basin. Perhaps Lake Mead's disastrously low water levels are from a net of increase in outflow to provide the Mexican's with increase water capacity, as much as, it is about lake of precipitation and snow melt. Surely, adding tens of millions foreign population to the Western Region of the United States had a major role in the overuse of water resources.
So the Big Lie that American Farmers will whither up and die because of labor shortage of economic slaves is nothing but hogwash. The same malarkey that politicos and special interest groups have been feeding us even before NAFTA. There are many reasons why American Farms are disappearing. Labor has little to do with it in this modern age of mechanical farming. Corporate Farms and governmental regulation are the main antagonists. Lack of water is another. Dairy Farming turned corporate when the Feds began fixing milk prices. All across America, you can find shuttered Family Dairy barns. We have food producing acreage now plowed for soybeans and corns. Two crops increasingly destined for non-food consumption. The vast majority of American produce production has been shifted to Mexico, and to a lesser extent, Canada. So why then must they keep the LIE going that we need these economic slaves here to work on our non-existent farms? The reason can be seen in the construction trades, food manufacturing, restaurant industries, and other low-skilled/labor intensive jobs. The vast majority of this workers are illegal aliens. Profits before Common Sense. Profits and fat pockets before the Citizenry that is supposed to be running this Nation. We should be sending illegal aliens back to Mexico to work on and in all of our farms and factories that have moved there.
