I was struck by the title of this early to mid-1960s song by the Tremeloes - "Silence is Golden."
This phrase has been used to hush many children and some grownups :-)

I was in boot camp in 1967. Remember this song well! You are getting closer to my era of music from High school...Doo Wop!
