The goal of the Caliphate is World domination and Radical Islamic Terrorism is a worldwide phenomenon and not a regional one.

Cpl Mark A. Morris - Since I am not a Muslim I cannot answer the question "Within Islam is Muhammad radical?" It also does not make any sense to me. If you can rephrase it I might be able to provide you an answer.

MSgt James Mullis - The Islamic terrorists are following Muhammad. Why is it radical Islam terror?

Cpl Mark A. Morris - Because the vast majority of the followers of Muhammad are not seeking to take over the world by committing terrorist acts. The small percent that do, can be called "Radicals", hence the term Radical Islamic Terror. That is not to say that the majority of the, self described "Peace Loving Muslims", are not sympathetic of the Terrorists on some level. It can also be argued that many of the basic tenants of the religion lead their followers to both violence and uncivilized behaviors. However, I've met a number of truly peaceful and highly civilized Muslims.

Scary times. Do you think they will start terror operations in China?
At the very least they have a far larger pool of radicals to draw on. Good luck China, I hope you have better luck than us in stopping them.

LTC Eric Udouj and that's a hell of a population base they could try to pull from. Pretty sure the Communist government would put up a strong, and iron-fisted fight against them. They seem to be going our route - trying them in court & hoping it doesn't come to armed conflict in the homeland.

The PRC has attempted to fight them - and its CT policy lays somewhere inbetween CT and discrimination of the Uighur population... but its what is outside of PRC and growing is where the real problem shall be. You have cadres that have been with AQ central forces in Pakistan for 2 decades now...... very experienced dudes..

LTC Eric Udouj - and mainland, rural China seems to be a place ripe for picking. People are very disconnected from the government unless you get closer to the major cities.

Good point - but in western China... how many have moved to the big cities on the east for work... and such adds to that concern
