"The US Army has long since standardised around 9-soldier infantry squads." What happened to the 11 man infantry squad? Is he thinking of Marines?

I enjoyed reading it. It is a good thinking article - when looking at working to establish a Infantry BN that better serves the user than say a US System INF BN.
