Going to hate to see that base close. From the old Japanese buildings that still had the bullet holes in the side where they were strafed, the spot where I met my future wife, next the the UFSK command building. Good time and great memories of that base

A memory I will cherish for life is my adventures in the ROK; from Yongsan and Camp Kim to OB Tango, from JSA to Camp Bonifas, and from Osan AFB to the Pusan Perimeter. Of all these, the JSA was most taxing and at the same time exciting, as well as educational. If I had another chance, I would choose to serve on that 38th Parallel negotiating with the enemy.

A lot of units have already left to Humphrey's. The remaining units are here only to support existing units who haven't left, or are transitioning once there is availability at Humphreys.
