Pelosi has the say on cops at the Capitol building through the Sgt at Arms. Not Trump. The Capitol police requested help 4 separate times (before Jan 6) and all were denied. Then look, Pelosi wanted him fired. Wonder why they didn't invite him to the hearings this week?

Pelosi isn't in charge of the Capitol police, the Sgt at Arms deals with security within the building proper, and we already know that denials came from on high. This is also a really bold direction to take, as help wouldn't have been necessary for 'tourists' lmao.

First, when a thread like this is started with a picture that in no way represents what truly happened on January 6th, you know it is not going to be an open and honest dialogue. People will believe what they want. SPC Jesse Davis is right, the Sgt at Arms works for the speaker of the house who denied time after time help offered by the city and the national guard. Anyone who thinks that this was solely the responsibility of a few mad Trump supporters is not doing their due diligence. Chatter abounded days earlier this was going to be an opportunity once and for all to make it look like Trump caused it all. The only people in jail are Trump supporters. The people clearly identified as BLM or ANTIFA or other nefarious groups are out on the street walking free. The fact that nobody in jail is allowed any due process is what should be investigated here.
