Their answer to everything is more drugs. I hate the VA, although there are some good people at the VA that try to help.

Again, this is a half sided story that shows bias. This author wants to bash the VA. Is the VA the greatest, no. Has it done bad, yes. But is it getting better, slowly but yes. If the author was a true investigative reporter, they wouldn't have cherry picked the parts of the Perdue case that met their bias. Inside the federal case (where several of the Perdue chicken family went to jail), the VA was actually a very small part of the Opioid crisis. For example, a local Dr here was paid over a $1M over a couple of years to prescribe Oxy. One Dr, one town. In the centers of the crisis (Kentucky, NE US), there are DR's prescribing 100,000's of scripts A DAY!
