No offense to those in this topic, but comparing Bush, or any other President, at this point is less than helpful and tend only to create division rather than discussion. What we should be doing is discussing the way ahead.

I'll see your bush and raise you an obama.

People pick their opinion articles like people predict superbowl prospects, bias.

@SGT Veronica Fulgham - Blais - You ought to hear me on the trail talking to the Privates. From Zero Day to Day 63, they have no clue as to whether I'm being sarcastic or not. It's a finely-honed talent

Ha! You posted this before I had a chance - I'm an ORSA (aka - math nerd)... Show me one stat that says one thing and I will show you 10 more that refute what the analysis of yours says... If you take a poll and not disclose the demographics and details of those surveyed - not to mention a calculated margin of error... Besides - this appears to have a sample size of 1 ultra liberal... reading the headlines of the other "surveys" they have on their site are just ridiculous...

In my lifetime, it is awfully hard to beat Jimmy Carter. So many things went horribly wrong on his watch, he couldn't leave office soon enough.
To his credit, Mr Carter has done a lot of great things post-Presidency, but his time in office was horrendous.

Total agree 1SG, I feel the majority of those polled were not aware of President Carter's horrible term (single TG) and just focus on his post-presidential work. However, even there I would have to say he has a tendency to act as if he is more knowledgeable than the serving CiC and interferes too much in foreign affairs without Administration approval (pretty sure there is a law against that).

SSG Bo Johnson While I think Mr Carter was a lousy President, I give him a lot of credit for putting his money and time where his mouth is. He has been an outspoken advocate for Habitat for Humanity, and has officially and unofficially worked for peace and safe elections in many countries around the world. That is laudable.

I'm wondering if Carter's amnesty for draft dodgers was a good thing. Those who served in 'Nam probably think it was a bad thing to do. I wonder though had the draft dodgers NOT been granted amnesty if 'Slick Willy' aka Bill Clinton would've been able to get in any office as he was a draft dodger which at the time was a criminal offense.
