Ah the beginning of the Lutheran church. I watched a documentary on him. A man with a love of music.

I read good things about Martin Luther but he also hated Jews to a passion. For centuries, Jews. Did not convert to Catholicism or burned at the stake or murdered in one way or another in Spain during the Spanish Inquisition. It wasn't until a few decades ago that the pope said that the Jews are not guilty for Killing Jesus Christ. This is possibly what has fostered the hatred of Jews which continues to stay in the KKK.

Civil Wars (usually) require years of disaffection to boil over. At best, Luther was the final straw.

I’m Catholic, i believe Luther had a point (95 of them).

I also believe a reformation of some sort is needed in Islam to rid the world of it’s radical elements.

With the reformation, Europe lost the yoke of Rome's dominance over the secular powers of the "King". Rome could control which principality would rule by demanding its 'tithe/Tax' maintaining its influence over the masses. Excommunication held many a Kingdom hostage. Luther pointed out the fallacy of this practice
