There’s a 'Boneyard' in Arizona where most US military planes go to die

It's pretty impressive driving by there. A whole lot of planes just sitting there. I think they give tours, but I never had time travelling between duty stations.

AMARC is a very impressive place. I was stationed at DM for 5 years back in the day, and I loved every time I got to get out in the rows. We used to pull parts off of stored aircraft to use on operational A-10's (happened 3x in 5 yrs). GoogleEarth and/or GoogleMaps gives you a good feel for the scope of the operation.

I was stationed at Davis-Monthan for 2-years and had every intention to see the Boneyard. Like everything in a busy life things get pushed back and I never did get that visit. I've seen plenty of pics, would be interesting to see up close. Its amazing how they maintain and use parts from the aircraft stored there.
