SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL I concur with Sen Joni Ernst's bottom line "While I remain concerned about alleged human rights violations in the region, it is my hope that our long history of working with the Philippines is not over,” she said. “It's important they know we are a dedicated friend and ally.”
Untold number of gallons of USA soldiers, sailors and marines blood has been spilled in the Philippines since we first got involved in the Spanish American War in 1898.
Our current Civilian leaders have never had a coherent workable foreign policy - they have alienated friendly nations an provoked others to be more beligerant.

The New President of the Philippines is a jerk. Islamic extremists have been there centuries before we fought them during and after the Spanish-American war.
