There's been a new twist in a controversial CNN story that led to the firing of 3 journalists...

Three journalists at CNN were forced to resign "amid concerns over its accuracy and whether it followed proper editorial procedure". The story was retracted the next day, but the NYT ended up confirming the original story last week.

This week, the family of Seth Rich filed a lawsuit against Fox News. Allegedly, quotes were purposely misconstrued or made up. The story wasn't vetted by the managing director or the legal team, and it remained on the Fox News website for a week, despite being debunked a few hours after it was posted. Even after the retraction, Hannity continued to push it until the family demanded that he stop. Fox News caused the conspiracy theory that is still alive today. The deputy editor has since then been promoted, and the reporter still continues to work for Fox News.
