Indianapolis has had more homicides so far this year than at this point last year, when a record was set. In one neighborhood in the northwest side of the city, people are taking matters into their own hands, with an unusual idea — a bike shop.

Awesome! My husband used to repair bikes for kids in the neighborhood....this shop you shared about is great!

Great story. It would also help if they had safe places to ride those bikes as well. They may already, but nothing in the article about it. I wish I had had a place like that, there are still some things I can't do, maintenance wise on my bikes.
