These 13 Major Events In October Are Free For Vets And Service Members

Vet Tix has tickets to 13 major events in October for veterans, service members, and their families.
Every week, in cities across the United States, thousands of tickets are available to veterans, service members, and family members of those killed in action, enabling them go to major sports games, concerts, and a whole host of other ticketed events. And all the tickets are free — except for a very small delivery fee — from the nonprofit Veteran Tickets Foundation, or Vet Tix.
October is full of fun opportunities, from football games to elaborate haunted houses. So before the chill of winter arrives, Vet Tix wants to help you get out in your community for some free fun with friends and family.
Below are 13 of the major events we are currently distributing tickets for in October, just some of the hundreds of events available at VetTix.org. Every event included on this list has at least 100 donated tickets available for our veteran and military members.
Oct. 1–31 Seattle, Washington: Georgetown Morgue
Oct. 6 Pontiac, Michigan: Erebus: The World’s Largest Haunted House – Four Story Haunted Attraction
Oct. 8 Atlanta, Georgia: Georgia State Panthers vs. Texas State football game
Oct. 8 Lewisville, Texas: Lewisville Gun Show, presented by Premier Gun Shows
Oct. 14 Scottsdale, Arizona: Totally 80s Live concert with Missing Persons, Bow Wow Wow and When In Rome II (18+ show)
Oct. 14 Fayetteville, North Carolina: TLC’s Long Island Medium Theresa Caputo
Oct. 15 Rogers, Arkansas: Korn and Breaking Benjamin: Nocturnal Underground Tour
Oct. 15 Long Beach, California: Monster Mash-Up Halloween Dance Party, presented by the Long Beach Symphony
Oct. 15 Bloomington, Indiana: Indiana Hoosiers vs. Nebraska Cornhuskers football game
Oct. 22 Tempe, Arizona: Arizona State Sun Devils vs. Washington State football game
Oct. 28 Fresno, California: Fresno State Bulldogs vs. Air Force football game
Oct. 28 New York, New York: Brooklyn Nets vs. Indiana Pacers basketball game
Oct. 30 Martinsville, Virginia: Goody’s Fast Relief 500 – NASCAR Sprint Cup Race
Vet Tix works with sports teams, entertainers, donors and venues to help put veterans and service members (including Reserve and Guard) in empty seats at games and events across the nation. Since 2008, we’ve had the pleasure to distribute more than 2.3 million free tickets to nearly 450,000 Vet Tixers.

Once you’ve created an account and verified your military service, you can review these 13 notable events, plus hundreds of other upcoming events across the country.

I use Vettix all the time. In fact just went to an event last weekend. I have been to sporting events, concerts, comedy shows.......its a great place to get tix cheap to share a great time out with your family and friends. Great post SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL
