The US Air Force's F-22 Raptor has been described as "the most lethal fighter aircraft in the world," but until recently it was used primarily as a bodyguard for other aircraft. The F-22 has seen combat starting only this past year.

How many aircraft has the F-22 shot out of the sky or destroyed on the ground SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL. I expect the answer is very few if any.

Real Dogfight
With all due respect, the F-22 is indeed the most lethal aircraft in the world. It can shoot other aircraft down without them even knowing it is there. In dogfights, it spanks the F-15 which has the best record of any fighter in the world when it comes to aerial combat.

I saw a a comic composite and it said something to the effect of "spreading your legs and kissing your butt goodbye" when you see a Raptor on your rear view mirror
