I also have a service dog, Iris, one of her task she preforms is for a similar problem. My right knee will give way. Iris is there to act as like a cane. Iris can be given the command to brace so I can use her as leverage for assistance to get up or if needed and my feels as though it is giving way she is my support. Iris is also for PTSD she can sense long before I will notice, any symptoms of anxiety, so I can do whatever is needed at the to prevent stress levels from rising. I am able to leave where I am if that is a possibly. It is also great comfort to just have a battle buddy with you to watch your six, she can be given the command to watch, then she just sits by my side facing towards my back; and it also helps she is a Rottweiler, a lot of people keep their distance then anyway. Isis's only thought is can I lick them also. (LOL)
What are some of the thoughts here about the article or having a service dog? Should this person have been allowed to continue setting up his booth at the gun show, and should he continue legal actions?

Thats One that I have never seen around here... the Serviced Dogs around Here are Clearly marked and usually on a leash and better behaved than most ot the Teenagers and children... this one would be in the Court system in a New York Second...

I would definitely have my day in court with this little crybaby.....Get a box of Kleenex and man up...! Just to clear this up I am referring to the show owner, not the Vet...

Plus, I just really love dogs. One of the first things I plan to do when we move is go to a local shelter (or two) and get a couple of dogs. Hubby and I can't agree on breed, he wants a pig and I want a larger breed, so we're going to get him a pug from the pug rescue org and I'll get another from one of the other rescues/shelters in the area.

I love labs. The only breed I am staying away from is pits. I know they're awesome dogs, but due to their rep, homeowners insurance likes to discriminate.
