This Is What Privates Go Through During Army Boot Camp

When I went through it wasn't OSUT for infantry. Took Basic at Fort Leonard Wood. Then a bus trip down to Fort Benning. I have to admit basic although pretty tough was nothing in comparison to Infantry school. Thanks for the memories COL (Join to see)

Ah the memories,great Monday morning wake up seems like it was just yesterday not 1965 Fort Lewis Wa.and being a newly shaven head private e- nothing.

I don't think they do enough when it comes to hurt feels. All the new Joes in my unit complain, complain, complain. They don't know what hard work is at all. When I came to my first unit with my AIT group we worked our asses off and didn't complain about it. We knew we had to work hard and we were going to work late most nights. These Joes don't understand what hard work means.
