This isn't an election: It's a civil war, and our side isn't necessarily winning

C'mon. Even you can't be that duplicitous. President Trump does not represent the Confederacy/KKK. All the bullshit about him being a bigot, et al, is just that. BS. Hysterical BS. Yes. The Democrats don't have a candidate or a platform that can defeat him or take the Senate. Indeed, there's a damn good chance they could lose the House as well. The economy is flourishing. Unemployment has reached historic lows. And we sure as hell aren't going to surrender our freedoms for socialism, democratic or otherwise. Of course, I don't expect to convince you of anything, so here's a warning. Get ready for another four years. It's going to be a rough ride for all you nutters out there.

No side would win this time. An actual Civil War would be the end of this "Great Experiment."

MAJ Bryan Zeski - Perhaps. But I am not yet ready to see an end of what we now have.

President Obama "we are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America."
If we are to fear President Trump please SSG Robert Mark Odom inform me what fundamental changes President Trump has initiated that "has cut the heart out of our democracy?"

Capt Gregory Prickett - Our "democracy" is currently a house of cards built on criminal acts... so... maybe its just par for the course.

Capt Gregory Prickett - Well... I guess we better back up a notch. What are the actual real world effects of "cut the heart out of our democracy?" [Aside from the fact that we are a democratic republic, not a democracy] To me that implies an autopsy and burial or cremation, figurative, not literal.
