Reading of this I can't help but think of Mark Twain's take on the tale of Noah. Illustrations of the animals boarding the Ark two-by-two, we see lions and tigers, apes and chimps, and all manner of furry things. Twain reminded us that we may have missed the mosquitos and tapeworms, all God's creatures great and small, clearing customs. Special gratitude must be reserved for Noah and his family who personally harbored ever disease and affliction to be preserved for we future generations...
