I have found most liberals that are anti-gun don't even understand what they are talking about. Many say semi-auto is assault and should be banned without even knowing what they are saying.

I love the statement "most liberals". How in the world do you know what liberals think! People are the ones who want people to register and make it harder for "nut cases" tho get 'legal' weapons. It is ironic that the bill that banning the sale of assault weapons was done in the name a republican named: James Brady
Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act, commonly known as the Brady Law, enacted in 1993 after a seven-year debate. It successfully lobbied for passage of the Federal Assault Weapons Ban, banning the manufacture and importation of so-called military-style assault weapons.

So I would appreciate the dropping of labeling of who objects to guns for everyone!!

So when does reason step in to rules on gun ownership new semi-auto weapons are made everyday that does mean they should be available to every Tom Dick and Jane.

My opinion has been voiced but I have yet seen the gun grab that was predicted. I just saw a rumor that drove up weapon prices and made ammo scarce. Think about and who profited of of that rumor??

I truly do not understand the logic behind doing this. How do people really think that disarming LAW ABIDING citizens will fix anything? It baffles me. No amount of gun control will stop evil people (criminals who dont follow laws) from doing evil things. example: San Bernardino. California has some of the strictest gun control laws in the country. I talked with a fellow co-worker(liberal) last week about control. She said there isn't a reason anyone would need a rifle, after explaining to her the difference in assault weapons and an AR-15 she went on to say then we need better gun control. After telling her that cali has the strictest gun laws in america she went on to say then we need stricter and more gun control. Seems they dont get the point and no amount of gun control is sufficient until all guns are banned.
