Thousands Delay Plans to Leave US Military

One of the reasons I joined when I did was that I was unemployed and couldn't find a job during the early 1980's recession. Not the only reason, but it certainly was a factor. If I were in today and eligible to reenlist, I would be very reluctant about hitting the civilian job market right now.

Good to see and it must be making the retainment NCOs ecstatic.
