Interesting effort. Thanks for posting, but did you notice the sub headline on their webpage?

"The Knife’s analysis of how news outlets distort information. (This section may contain opinion.)"

Well, I don't blame them for having their own opinion. But what do we know?
- President Trump is viewed as having put out 2,000 untrue statements while in office so far.
- The criticisms regarding his appearance in Pennsylvania were about his classless attack on TV host Chuck Todd, calling him a 'son-of-a-bitch.' This is both uncalled for and embarrassing.

No matter how you try, you can't spin away from the facts about President Trump's appearance.

Ok so you post a link to a source that denies spinning the news when it has been shown that they do indeed have bias to refute a source that goes out of its way to present both sides of the issue and label opinions as opinions instead of labeling them as fact. Got it.

MSG D, I appreciate the link you posted, and I'll look for them in the future.

Can you address the second point? Wasn't the President's behavior rude and embarrassing? Or, are you spinning?

Nice analysis. It lays out the issue nicely and why we are ended up with very different views of reality.

That's true. None of them are lies, just a different look at the truth. Just as most people do. Some see the sky as partly cloudy while other see it as partly sunny.

It’s the not being able to look at both sides that makes our recent situations in this country more dangerous. You have media that is anti trump and you have media that is pro trump. You have people that only follow news from their own side. All this does is reinforce their own personal biases. That increases polarization in this country. If the media reported only the facts and left out the slant and spin we’d all be better off. Unfortunately some people are intellectually lazy and want others to tell them what to think. This happens on both sides.

You’re right on the money there. We would all be better off, and a hell of a lot better informed. The media would also be a hell of a lot more credible than they are today as well. Then again, they might now sell nearly as many papers or have as many followers in their tv and radio audiences either. Doesn’t really make a difference what the organization ID is; the media in general serves no real purpose anymore aside from being mouthpieces and a shill for corrupt, greedy, power drunk politicians; they all do it every day and it would appear that most Americans suck it right up and then regurgitate it all without ever questioning even one word.
Lately I’ve been wondering if socialist aren’t right after all. Maybe people really do want to be told what to think, how to act, and what to do and how to live their lives.... And my family & friends question why I want to just check out completely and go off grid....
Just my opinion...
