Since the South Koreans will be the first to bear the worst brunt of any NK attack it seems the US should give their opinion careful consideration in making moves toward NK. Delaying war games would be an excellent way to try & ease tensions on the ground and to focus a bit more on the Olympics, even going so far as to invite NK athletes to participate and give them a chance to compete.
