Thanks for reminding us TSgt Joe C. that on May 4, 1980 the communist leader of Yugoslavia since 1945 Josip Broz Tito passed away at the age of 88 in Belgrade.
Tito was a shrewd leader who leveraged Red Army support in WWII yet maintained a separate status from the Warsaw Pact nations as Yugoslavia was an independent republic held together by Tito until it disintegrated into its pre-Ottoman Turkish empire entities.

That guy was my grandfather's cousin. My dad's dad's mom's nephew, to be precise. Broz was his family name, Tito was a nickname. My last name is an anglicized version of Broz. I didn't know he lived to 88, but it's not surprising. My great grandmother made it to 99, my grandfather died at 88, and my dad is still going strong at 77.

Tito was the first Breakaway communist country. Believe it or not, they filmed Kelly's Heroes there in 1970. So the four of the Yugoslav Civil War, Tito was open to business with famous Hollywood Studios
