In '88 June - Aug. It was gruelling, and I was in top shape. The worst was when two companies where standing in knee deep water in the road / wash during the daily 1500 storm. Lightning struck, I remember being on my back in the water, still holding my M-16. Even mother nature got in on the BOHICA!

Thank goodness. Spent four years at Jackson as medical cadre and the weakness that came outta there was mind boggling. Don’t know why it took so long for this to happen. My new privates don’t know their ass from a hole in the ground.

SPC Jovani Daviu I went through basic a long time ago, but I think we felt the same way after we went through bivouac!! And we were only camped for three days!!! LOL
