Awesome share, David. I read her book when I was a kid. Well, the book about her life.

I have taught the play The Miracle Worker many times. She is a positive example for us all. Thanks, Greg!

I nearly lost sight in my right eye due to a detached retina. I lost vision in half the field of my eye before I could get to a doctor because it happened on a Friday right before the New Year's Eve weekend. I had to travel fifty miles for surgery because the eye surgeons in Daytona Beach were on vacation at the same time. That was scary because I feel as you do that it is unimaginable not to be able to see.

SSG Pete Fleming - 20-40 in that eye now. The problem was after the surgery. Because they drain all of the fluid out of your eye to do the surgery, they fill the eye with a gas bubble to press against the surgical sight until your natural fluids replace it. Many people, myself included will develop a cataract in the eye. My luck I had to have surgery for that. Now I am all good!!!
