When Barbie came out in 1959 G.I. Joe was 13 years old and thinking about going into the service when he graduated from high school. Joe would grow and develop into the typical all American boy and make his appearance on the toy scene in 1964. Anyone here on RP ever have a G.I. Joe? My Joe made his first jump hitting the silk from the second story window of my house and lived using a chute I made out of a silk neckerchief my cowboy uncle left unattended one day in the laundry room to his complete surprise. Joe survived this and many other jumps into enemy territory saving America from the enemy wherever they popped up. "GO JOE"
