Toledo Zoo first to record biofluorescence in Tasmanian Devils

An image released by the Zoo on Saturday shows an almost supernatural glow being emitted from the animal's eyes, ears and snout.

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel The Tasmanian Devils we saw in Tasmania were: Devils! A frozen carcass of ‘road kill’ was thrown into a pen of perhaps five, female Tasmanian Devils and within five minutes, there was only a scrap of fur remaining! The females are so fierce that they only tolerate males during the breeding season.
