There will always be dragons among us. Many of us are already part dragon, being warriors. But hopefully we lack (or control) the greed for shiny things and the lust for power. Tolkien was prescient. His ideas and messages remain as relevant today as ever.

Interesting article, thanks for sharing. I have always been a big fan of Tolkien, well, since my 12th birthday and my mom gave me a first edition of The Lord of the Rings and a second edition The Hobbit. I am a little sad that his son Christopher just recently passed away. Christopher was stationed in North Africa during WWII and his father would send him some pages of his writings regularly.
