Corporal Henry Norwest was the 2nd best sniper in WW1. He was a full Cree Indian but lied saying he was metis (mixed). He killed at least 115 enemy soldiers. He is #7 on the top ten video here. He is on at about the 2:25 mark. He was my Wife's Great, Great, Great, Grandfather and here is my Aunt in France honoring him. He was also a Royal Canadian Mountain Policeman too before WW1.

Thanks for reminding us LTC (Join to see) about Canadian sniper Corporal Henry Norwest who was the 2nd best sniper in WW1. It was sad that he had to lie to say he was not a full Cree Indian in order to enlist in the Canada Army. I expect many of his comrades were glad he enlisted since he killed at least 115 enemy soldiers.
